Special Notes about Classes

Our class schedule and your enrollment is a shared commitment, so please check your calendar carefully before scheduling. We cannot give refunds but if you give us 72 hours (3 days notice) fees paid can be applied to the store merchandise of your choice.

Class will be cancelled and fees returned if there is insufficient registration.

Classes will be added as required and we can put you on a waiting list if requested.

We can also schedule classes on the mezzanine level of the shop if the stairs are a problem for any participant. Please let us know ahead of time. We are happy to accommodate you.

Please register early. We accept phone registrations, but paying your class fee is what holds your place and prevents you from being bumped from the class. You may pay for your class over the phone using a credit card, send in a check or come into the shop.

Unless listed as a Kids or Teen class, our classes are geared to adults 18 and over. Please don’t bring children to class. Many people are taking classes to take a break from tending children.

Please limit perfume/cologne use as someone next to you may have an allergic reaction to heavy fragrances.

Class Supply Lists

Some classes require advanced preparation, so please be sure to get your materials early so that you are properly prepared. Supply lists are available at the shop and distributed when your space is reserved. Some classes require book or pattern purchases, other classes may just recommend a pattern or book purchase. Always in Stitches will strive to have all supplies needed for all classes on hand.

Class Related Purchases Discount

All class related purchases made in the shop from the time of class sign up through the end of the class period are eligible for a 10% discount. Please let the staff know if your purchases are for class materials.

Sewing Machines

We are fortunate to have four new Bernina machines, provided by Beth’s Creative Stitchery, for use by our students. Reservations for these machines for class use are on a first-come, first served basis, so be sure to call ahead to check availability. Also, we will gladly help customers haul their own machines into the shop for classes.

Class Room Space

We have several areas in the store that are available for your Guild meetings, group projects and sew-ins. Call us to help you plan your group sessions. We have great classes and instructors that can be customized to fit your group needs. Remember, we give group discounts on classes, so this is very affordable. Call to reserve your space and time.
